We live in unique times where COVID has forced a lot of schools to go virtual. For a lot of parents it is a choice between work and school. For some students, virtual school experience requires additional mentoring and support. This summer Empower And Help team with student ambassadors, The Book Smart Project and Scholars for Syria helped students from K-12 come up to speed for their upcoming school year. This experience made us realize students have a need for greater support even during school year. Hence we are implementing Peer Virtual mentorship Program to help more students.
