A recent conversation between Priti (Founder at EmpowerAndHelp) and Hayley (Founder at Lifting Hands International) – “Priti, again, you are so kind! Thank you so much for thinking of us and supporting our work for the Ukrainian people during this horrible crisis. So, we absolutely welcome your support and you can use any and all information from our page to put out a fundraising blast. I’m actually about to leave for Moldova, and we’ll be sharing regular updates of what we see and organizations we can vouch for while we’re on the ground. I’ve already had the chance to remotely meet with some amazing ladies who are helping on the front lines. I can’t wait to meet them in person…. even as I’m gearing myself up for the high emotions of being back in the middle of a refugee crisis again. It never gets easier, really.”
As the Ukrainian people have stood firm in the face of aggression, Lifting Hands stands committed to helping those who are forced from their homes by this senseless violence.

In the coming days, weeks, and months, millions of Ukrainian citizens will likely need shelter, food, water, medical supplies, and more, both inside Ukraine and in surrounding countries. Lifting Hands is working with partners in Poland, Moldova, and other nearby countries to send aid shipments from the United States and to help our partners provide timely support to Ukrainian refugees as the situation evolves.
Feelings of helplessness can easily overwhelm in times like these. Hang in there. Don’t give up hope. Join us in building a better world, one heart, one smile, one lifted hand at a time.
