The yearly Youth Empowerment Teen Ventures Program picks up again in September after the Magazine Launch event held every July—a year-long commitment. Students across the country unite each week, engaging in collaborative meetings where they select topics that ignite their passions. Each contributor embarks on a creative journey, crafting initial drafts, participating in peer reviews, and refining their ideas through thorough research, sourcing, and illustrations—all while emphasizing the importance of credit and citation. Once the writing process is complete, these young visionaries design advertising and marketing plans, tirelessly seeking sponsorships and donations, promoting their work through social media, and connecting with fellow youth on various relevant topics.
After a year of dedicated effort, the magazine is sent for printing, culminating in a proud moment of distribution and publishing. We are thrilled that our mission continues to grow, with every issue exemplifying our commitment to providing a safe and inclusive space for teens everywhere.
